Canon announces the much awaited mirrorless EOS M Digital Camera to it’s EOS camera line up.
The camera features an 18 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor.
A Hybrid CMOS AF that delivers fast autofocus speeds for video and photos.
A 3 inch touch screen LCD display that allows common multi-touch gestures such as “pinch-to-zoom” and “swiping” to scroll between images.
“The camera’s size, image quality, advanced video capabilities and the versatility of Canon’s full lineup of lenses make the EOS M another great option to help our customers record and capture their creative vision.”
Announced with the EOS-M camera are: the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM kit lens and the optional EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens.
Canon also announced the optional EF-EOS M Mount Adapter and the Speedlite 90EX flash unit.
The EOS-M camera and all of the accessories will be available in October.
The EOS-M camera bundled with the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM lens will retail for around $800.
The EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens will retail for around $300.
The EF-EOS M mount adapter will retail for around $200.
And the Speedlite 90EX will sell for around $150
